Reporting to the Deputy Headmaster – Policy and Strategy, working in collaboration with our management team our Governance and Compliance Administrator will provide a central point of coordination and accountability for our corporate governance and compliance frameworks. Through developing associated policy, procedures, guidance complemented by a robust auditing framework this role will align the governance, risk and compliance needs with the School’s overall strategic objectives.

 The Governance and Compliance Administrator will work across the whole School. Whilst the responsibilities of this role will vary from day to day, you will be supporting, monitoring and auditing documentation including the development, management and maintenance of compliance registers and associated reporting, including but not limited to; school activities, staff records, privacy, document control, risk, safety and, legal matters.

 The ideal candidate for this role will have a broad knowledge and experience in governance and compliance, records management and safe work practices, and a talent for auditing and accurately reviewing high volumes of documentation in short timeframes. This position is ideally suited to candidates who have completed or are working towards formal qualifications in legal, corporate governance or a related field and have previous experience in a similar role. The successful applicant will be reliable and enjoy working both independently as well as part of a hardworking and diverse team, in a Christian School setting.

The successful candidate will have….

·       Tertiary qualifications in governance, audit, legal or related field and/or extensive knowledge and experience in these areas

·         Valid NSW Working with Children Check

·         Current First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Accreditation).

·         Current CPR Certificate
